December 2014 All my life I’ve taken pictures with the real Santa Claus up until this past year. However, to be 29 years old, I was genuinely grinning like a 7 year old to take my first picture with the pretend Santa. Who would have thought he’d be in China of all places?

I was her foster mother for 18 months and helped with selecting her now forever home. My blog is full of lovely words and tears for her. We changed each… Continue reading 6 Days to 30
March 2011 At the last minute, I learned that Maya Angelou would be at Gammage Auditorium at Arizona State. I will always feel blessed and humbled to have witnessed such a beautiful spirit in words, actions and soul.
February 2014 My sister and I went to Hawaii for about 9 days to celebrate our cousin’s wedding. My sister can not swim and in my opinion….is scared of water LOL. So, you can imagine her face when I showed her the pamphlet to do the above activity. She was freaked out but eventually succumbed… Continue reading 8 Days to 30
Fall 2012 I learned of a position as a Community Health Nurse with an organization called Family-Nurse Partnership. I took this picture after my first interview with them. I had read research articles and other literature about their mission and it’s success within the community. Hear me….after a taxing 13 hour shift on the floor,… Continue reading 9 Days to 30
