My laptop magically decided to work tonight! So, here I am…long overdue to share my heart.
I have been a single foster mom for slightly over a month now! I must say that the challenges have seemed overwhelming at times but I thank God for His grace & strength. I thank God for aligning us so that His will may be done and He may be glorified. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit that guides us and is constantly providing coverage over us. God is AMAZING.
We often perceive our salvation as only affecting “self”. So, we drag our feet in our spiritual journey as if there is no accountability. We embrace a spiritual “see-saw” that seems to go on indefinitely. Dead in our spiritual complacency. We cling tight onto our favorite sins and their perceived benefits (AND expect unaffected blessings). As a result, the abundance that God desires for us is not felt. We live as if God is obligated to bless us repeatedly despite our blatant disobedience and disinterest in the things of God.
We resist Him.
What would it take for us to dive into the deep things of Christ? What event in life would compel us to enter into His Secret Place?
Blessing has shown me how vital my salvation is for others. The ability to apply coverage and declare the Word over another soul who in turn will bring more souls into the Kingdom of God. I must be right…and obedient….and prepared! I encourage everyone to examine their spiritual walk and choose to propel into the Lord. What souls are linked to your salvation? What divine appointments have we missed in our disengagement to Christ?
For if we go on deliberately and
willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to
look forward]. [There is nothing left for us then] but a kind of awful and fearful prospect and expectation of divine judgment and the fury of burning wrath and
indignation which will consume those who put themselves in opposition [to God].
